Mechanical Run
Slope Gear keeps the ball moving forward while players steer across sloped platforms using the Arrow Keys or A/D. The route becomes harder as distance increases, with moving hazards appearing closer together and safe lanes becoming tighter. Falling from the platform or hitting a dangerous obstacle ends the run immediately, so positioning matters as much as reaction speed.
Gate System
Locked gates add another task during the run because passing them requires the matching key color.
- Watch the gate color before reaching the barrier.
- Move toward the matching key placed along the track.
- Missing the required key leaves the gate locked.
- Collecting a key opens the corresponding gate and keeps the run active.
- Gate sequences become more demanding when combined with nearby hazards.
Power-Up Effects
Three pickups change how players handle gems and collisions in Slope Gear:

Route Priority
A useful way to handle crowded sections is to decide which object matters first. A required key should take priority when a locked gate is approaching, while gems can be skipped if reaching them forces the ball toward a blade, hammer, bomb, or platform edge. Power-ups become most valuable when they appear along a safe route, especially the shield during sections with several moving hazards.
