Test your timing and reflexes across six music-driven courses in Shape Rush, a rhythm platformer. Reach progression in one continuous run, adapt to changing forms, and let the soundtrack guide your next move.
About Shape Rush
Shape Rush features six courses with their own music, obstacle layouts, and difficulty ratings. A crash sends you back to the beginning of the current level, so completing later stages requires consistent timing from start to finish.
- Dream Dash: Easy introduction to movement and rhythm.
- Back On Track 2.0: Normal difficulty with faster obstacle sequences.
- Dry Out 2.0: Normal course featuring a different layout and soundtrack.
- Base After Base 2.0: Hard stage with tighter gaps and quicker reactions.
- Reapers: Harder difficulty with demanding trap combinations.
- Club Madness: Harder final course that brings the previous mechanics together at a faster pace.
There is one Normal single-player mode, with no checkpoints or Practice Mode available during a run.
Gameplay And Transformations
Portals change how your character moves during Shape Rush, so reaching the finish requires more than memorizing jump timing. The Cube jumps with a tap, the Ship responds to holding and releasing the control, and the Ball flips gravity when activated. These transitions can appear in the middle of a level, forcing you to adjust immediately while the music and course continue moving forward.
The rhythm provides useful timing cues for incoming obstacles, especially during faster sections. Learning how each form reacts also makes repeated attempts more productive, since progress comes from recognizing patterns and adapting earlier on the next run.
Controls
- Left Mouse Button / Keyboard / Touch: Jump, fly, or flip according to the active form.
- Cube: Tap to jump.
- Ship: Hold to rise and release to descend.
- Ball: Tap to reverse gravity.
