Airborne BMX

Take control of a BMX rider in Airborne BMX, a side-scrolling sports game featuring 60 handcrafted courses. Dirt trails, ramps, slopes, gaps, and uneven surfaces shape the route, so your approach has to change as the terrain develops. Finishing a course earns a medal, while additional objectives and improved results give completed stages plenty of replay value.

Build Speed for the Next Jump

In Airborne BMX, the Spacebar plays an important role in how the bike moves through a course. Hold it while riding over terrain to pump the bike, then release it to launch from a suitable point. It can also help with fast landings, giving you another way to manage the bike when approaching the ground.

Turn Airtime Into Tricks

Jumps create opportunities to perform freestyle moves while the rider is airborne. Basic inputs let you perform tricks such as Table, Barspin, Turndown, and Tailwhip, while Shift combinations unlock advanced variations. Longer airtime gives you room to build a larger sequence, but you still need to leave enough time to prepare the bike for touchdown.

Chase Better Results

The 60 levels in Airborne BMX become increasingly demanding as new layouts test your control. Completing a stage awards a medal, and returning to finished courses lets you improve your performance and pursue Platinum medals. Over 200 objectives add optional challenges throughout the game, giving you further reasons to revisit familiar tracks. A failed landing can end the run with a ragdoll crash, so knowing when to stop a trick is part of building a successful ride.

BMX Riding Tips

  • Momentum: Keep enough speed before a ramp so the bike can reach the next section.
  • Airtime: Use longer jumps for trick combinations, but leave time to prepare for landing.
  • Landing: Align the bike before touchdown to avoid losing control after a stunt.
  • Combo control: Stop adding tricks when the landing is approaching rather than risking the entire run.
